It supports three different wireless charging modes, 7.5W for All iPhone 8/X/11/12/13 Series; 10W for Samsung Galaxy S9/S9 Plus/S8/S8 Plus/Note 8/9 and more, and 5W standard charging for all enable devices. If you want to charge an iPhone series before iPhone 8 with wireless technology, an external wireless charging receiver or receiver case is required. It works with most plastic phone cases on.
